Who may apply: Applications will be considered for the following application categories within the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment for the 2nd semester 2022:
- All applicants who has obtained previous qualifications and wish to study towards the listed qualifications below
- Regretfully no RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) applications will be considered.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

PDENGM | POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT |
Students holding an NQF level 7 qualification in any of the Engineering disciplines (or related field) OR an equivalent qualification at NQF level 7. Students holding one of the following qualifications may be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering Management programme:

BHENCV | BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY HONOURS IN CIVIL ENGINEERING |
Minimum admission requirements (HEQF aligned qualifications) A 420 credit Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degrees in Civil Engineering (or related field) or an equivalent qualification at NQF L7 OR A 140 credit Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification such as BTech in Civil Engineering. Students should obtain an average of 60% in the exit level subjects of the 420 credit Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degree. Advanced Diploma and BTech students should obtain an average of 60% of the entire qualification. |
PDCLTT | POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN CLOTHING AND TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY |
Successful completion of the 120 credit Advanced Diploma Clothing and Textile Technology with an average of 60% OR 120 credit B-Tech Degree with an average of 60%. For the students who don’t qualify the requirements i.e. 60% average score, they are expected gain at least one-year industry experience post completion of the Advanced Diploma qualification. Applicants must provide evidence of having attained sufficient competency against NQF Level 7 descriptors (Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s) for admission to an NQF level 8 qualification. |

ALL DOCUMENTATION MUST BE CERTIFIED (Certification must not be older than 3 months old)
