Target Audience
This course is applicable to all industries including manufacturing and service delivery. Persons who have successfully completed the Preliminary Quality Control Course, or who have had prior practical experience in the field of product and service quality should attend the course. This includes quality managers, quality inspectors, quality control personnel, quality assurance personnel, laboratory technicians, supervisors and team leaders.

Course structure
Course Structure
The course comprises of formal online class lectures, practical case studies and
presentations. Students must have data on a smart device (phone or tablet and PC/Notebook
Laptop with built-in webcam) to view videos and complete online
Blackboard assessments and tasks.

Module 2: Organizational Quality Responsibilities
Module 3: Metrology
Module 4: Methods and Requirements of Inspection
Module 5: Quality Management tools
Module 6: Quality Assurance Economics
Module 7: Organizational Cultures
Module 8: Introduction to Internal Auditing
Assessment and Certification
Participants will continuously be assessed by means of tests and / or assignments, etc. A
Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Certificate of Competence will be awarded
to successful participants.

Course lasts for: 8 weeks (Saturdays only)

Access to Blackboard granted after full payment, or payment by debit order over 3 months or a company letterhead promise to pay emailed to us.
Class times are: 08h00-13h00 Saturdays
Note about class dates:
A space is needed at home on Saturday mornings to attend online lectures and complete classwork. The Lecturer is available Saturdays from 8am to 1pm to answer your questions. The tutor is available on Email and WhatsApp
Learning Resources
Students must have data on a smart device (phone, tablet or PC) to view videos and complete online assessments and tasks.
Stationary required: Hard cover book, calculator, pens, rulers and highlighters.
