None, but a senior certificate is preferred.
Recommendations: Students must be able to perform basic calculations.
Target Audience
Individuals working in production management who want to update their skill set to improve productivity and operations at their place of work will benefit from this course. This group includes manufacturing specialists, production managers, technical managers, engineers, technicians, supervisors, foremen, team leaders and line workers.
This course will also substantially benefit people who work in alternative fields such as Purchasing, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Quality Control, Warehousing, and Logistics.

Learning Resources
All students will receive the course material via email weekly per the course schedule. Supplementary course e-books will also be supplied via email.
Assessment and Certification
Students will continuously be assessed using four tests and/or assignments, etc. Successful students will be awarded a Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) certificate. The course content is benchmarked against level 5 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

For students who cannot attend on Saturdays, videos of ALL the learning material will be available for the duration of the course.
