Entrance Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent - NQF 5 (in line with HEQSF)
- Written and verbal proficiency in English
Target Audience
Students with a curious flair, emerging journalists, working individuals.
Assessment and Certification
The assessments will be both formmative and summative.
The methods of formative assessments include:
- Activities
- Quizzes
- Assignments: Individual
The methods of summative assessments include:
- one project (and presentation)
- one test
- test includes:
recall and understanding: 40% analysis, application and creation: 60%
Mode: blended
Assessment for summative purposes occurs at the end of the cycle of learning
Tests questions are aligned to Bloom’s taxonomy

Course lasts for: 6 weeks, Blended: face to face and online
Class times are: 16:30 - 19:30
Note about class dates:
The course takes place once a week, every Wednesday from 17:15 - 20:15.

Minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 students
