25 Point Grade 12 for five subjects (50% = 5) Excluding Life Orientation
Maths 40% (Maths Lit 60%)
English (1st Language) 50%
2nd Language 40%)

A+ N+ certificate or letter of employment in the ICT Industry
Target Audience
The CCNA is a highly respected certification program for those wishing to start a career as a entry-level network engineer. This is a part time course ideal for candidates who are already working in the IT industry and want to enhance their career prospects or those wishing to enter the high demand world of Communication Networks for the first time.
Course Structure
CCNA: Introduction to Networks (ITN)
CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials (SRWE)
CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA)
CCNA Cybersecurity Operations
This curriculum provides a comprehensive introduction to the networking field and in-depth exposure to fundamental networking, LAN switching, wireless LANs, basic routing, Cybersecurity, WAN concepts, VPNs, QoS, Virtualization, and network automation. Through hands-on lab activities, students learn how to implement network technologies and troubleshoot network failures and prepare the student to be business ready from day 1
Assessment and Certification
50% University pass required in all subjects for CPUT certificate of completion
70% for each of 4 possible CCNA course certificates
