Entrance Requirements
Valid Refresher certificate/one that expired one month prior.
You must be medically fit and be available for all 2.5 days
Recommendations:
Please bring along your ID/passport, swimming costume and towel on day 1.
Target Audience
Those who have done an offshore survival course before and just need to refresh their certificate. Refresher is only allowed if your certificate is still valid or one month after expiry.
Course Structure
Day 1: Class session. Pool Drill with HUET
Day 2: Firefighting
Day 3: First Aid training
Assessment and Certification

Course Intake
A minimum of 4 candidates is required, due to practical elements of the course. If this minimum is not met - the course may be postponed/rescheduled at the discretion of CPUT management.
Partners
Firefighting is conducted offsite by an accredited marine firefighting training provider. Transport is provided to students on the course.
