Final Year Experience Programme (FYEP)

The Final Year Experience Programme (FYEP) is an initiative by the Division of Student Affairs and Services, implemented by the Department Student Counselling in partnership with various Support and Academic Departments. The programme aspires to offer a comprehensive co-curricular programme to all final-year students that integrates different CPUT service offerings into a diverse programme. Creating opportunities for faculty and students to participate in and develop relevant personal- and professional capabilities, in line with CPUT graduate attributes. From 2025, the FYEP will be integrated into the academic curriculum of different work preparedness subjects and hold a credit bearing component.

Resources

The FYEP programme resources cover a diverse range of topics that aims to develop personal, social, and professional capabilities of final-year students. Video, audio and electronic resources are developed to be short and impactful, introducing students to the fundamentals of the topic. Opportunities to engage and share experiences are encouraged and our podcasts are sure to get you talking.
