The Staff Learning and Development department seeks to creates learning opportunities for all staff to improve capabilities which includes skills, knowledge and behaviour and contribute to the success and achievement of the university goals.

Knowledge and skills are essential in each job category and therefore staff development must be appropriate to the employee role and expectations to achieve the desired outcomes. The primary purpose of all staff development is to improve job performance and contribute to a healthy climate and culture to achieve the university’s mission and vision.
