Investing In CPUT
CPUT is already the largest university in the Western Cape, and we’re poised to scale new heights within the next five years. Growth in student enrolments will jump to 38 500 in 2019, about 5 000 more than current figures. Likewise, our research outputs are set to rise steadily, helping us to achieve our goal of being ranked in the top 10 publicly-funded universities in South Africa.
2015 sees CPUT celebrate ten years of excellence in career-focussed education and research. In the next decade, we will build on our strengths in Bio-economy and Biotechnology, Space Science and Technology, Energy, Climate-change and Environment, Human and Social Dynamics, Economic Growth and International Competitiveness and Design for Sustainability.
If you’d like to invest in our growth, consider the following areas.
- Teaching and learning: Fund a bursary, or engage CPUT in skills delivery
- Research: Fund one of our many research programmes or one of CPUT’s technology stations
- Community Engagement: Fund a service learning or community development project
The CPUT Bursary Fund
The cost of higher education presents great challenges for our bright and eager students. Although academically deserving and full of potential, many students simply cannot afford to pay for their studies.
By pledging your support, you’ll be giving dignity and hope to those struggling to fund their education.
To donate to the CPUT Bursary Fund via debit order, direct deposit or EFT payment, please: Download the pledge form and post, fax, scan/email back to us.
If you’d like to make a donation via credit card, please click here. CPUT uses a secure electronic transaction system; no account details are stored online or shared with third parties.
