Work at CPUT
The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) was established on 1 January 2005 through the merger of Cape Technikon and Peninsula Technikon. It is the only university of technology in the Western Cape and the largest in the region, serving over 30,000 students across multiple campuses with more than 80 career-focused programmes.
At CPUT, talent acquisition aims to build journeys and futures rather than merely filling roles. The process begins with connection and continues through onboarding and offboarding, focusing on meaningful interactions that reflect a humancentric culture and commitment to growth. The organisation emphasises integrity, transformation, well-being, belonging, and impact, fostering a high-performance culture characterised by transparency, respect, and accountability. Empowered staff contribute to an environment of trust and collaboration, ensuring every employee feels valued and inspired to excel, thus reinforcing a culture of excellence in results and collaborative integrity.
