Accessing tutor development

  • In order for the training workshop to take place, there should be a minimum of 15 students
  • Dates for Tutor Training workshops are advertised on Newsflash
  • Lecturers can request a workshop for the department if there is a minimum of 15 students
  • Requests can be sent to Student Learning Administrative assistants below
  • Mentoring takes place in and outside residences

Accessing academic literacy and mathematics support

  • Book an appointment to see a lecturer or a learning facilitator 24 hours in advance
  • Arrive on time on the day of the appointment
  • If a student wants to be assisted with an assignment, they must bring the assignment 24 hours in advance and at the same time book an appointment with a lecturer or learning facilitator so that they can go through the assignment or project

Accessing mentoring

  • Mentors are trained at the beginning of the year when replacing mentors who have left the previous year
  • Dates for the training of mentors can be requested from the Administrative Assistants below
