Welcome Ceremony at Wellington Campus

GEM IN THE COUNTRYSIDE: Acting VC Prof Anthony Staak welcomed first years to the picturesque Wellington campus.

CPUT’s Wellington campus played host to the second Welcome Ceremony of the orientation week.

CHOSEN FEW: Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Anthony Staak urged the first years not to waste the opportunity they have been given.

It was a warm welcome in more ways than one for the hundreds of students and parents at CPUT’s Cape Town Campus.

Fee increase for 2012

QUALITY: Despite a price increase CPUT remains one of the most affordable tertiary education institutions in the country.

After a two year price freeze CPUT has raised the cost of its upfront payment for new and returning students.

START OF A JOURNEY: Almost 9000 first years received acceptance letters to CPUT.

 Anybody still hoping to apply for a course at CPUT has a slim chance of getting accepted.

Added bonus for CPUT students

ONLINE FOREVER: CPUT students will have an email address for life thanks to the new MyCPUT mailbox.

CPUT has cemented its status as a technology leader by kicking the year off with an added bonus for new and existing students.

HELPING HAND: The Sociotech Kujali unit have developed cellphone technology to improve the lives of township dwellers.

In a small room on the CPUT Roeland Street campus a group of post graduates are making a big difference.

CPUT registration goes online

DIGITAL: CPUT students will be able to register online as from January 2012.

CPUT is saying goodbye to long registration queues. As from January 2012 returning students will be able to register online in just under 10 minutes.
