Warning about fake communiqués

We are aware of a number of fake communiqués purporting to be from the institution doing the rounds on social media and via whatsapp.

Based on a revised security assessment a decision has been made to keep classes suspended until further notice.

General Meeting info

Yesterday a large group of stakeholders met to discuss the details of the upcoming mass General Meeting to be held tomorrow. As per the students' request, the venue for this meeting has changed from Bellville to Cape Town campus Please see below for full meeting information.
 
Please be advised that the Executive Committee of Senate decided today to suspend all academic activities on all CPUT campuses with immediate effect. Students completing internships/ in-service training will be allowed to continue with these.  All academic activities will be resumed on Friday 21 October.
 

Parents and guardians of current CPUT students are invited to a general assembly of the university to discuss and deliberate on the current situation faced by the institution.

Dear Staff and Students,

By now those of you who are scheduled to write assessments or have contact classes at the Wingfield Military Base in Goodwood will have been communicated to directly by your faculty.
