Access control procedures at Wingfield Military Base

Dear Staff and Students,

By now those of you who are scheduled to write assessments or have contact classes at the Wingfield Military Base in Goodwood will have been communicated to directly by your faculty.

Being a military base, very strict security protocols will be in place, and all staff and students who will have sessions at this venue are asked to take special note of the following:

  • Lecturers are expected to be at the access gate before classes/assessments start to verify students’ identity and to take a role call. Non attendance will put your sessions in jeopardy, so please cooperate fully.
  • Students and staff are to remain within their designated areas at all times. No loitering will be allowed.
  • Please arrive in good time for your class or assessment. Being late may mean you will not be allowed on site.
  • Staff and Students cards to be worn at all times.
  • Students will be transported from the gate by bus to and from the different venues.

Your safety and security is our utmost priority and your strict adherence to the above measures will allow us to complete our different activities at Wingfield with the least amount of interruptions.

Thank you for your cooperation.
