Calling all design fundis - if you know your shutter speeds from your typography then you could win big with CPUT at the up-coming Design Indaba.

The Faculty of Informatics and Design will be awarding various spot prizes and potentially a bursary to the value of R 15 000 to kick start a career in design.

To play, contestants have to answer a number of design related questions and the fastest one to six points wins a spot prize and a chance to enter for the lucky draw.

The faculty's PR and Marketing Coordinator, Munira Allie says the game will debut at the CPUT stand at the Design Indaba, which starts on Friday this week, and will test just how design savvy our future designers are.

Design Indaba is the premier design-centered showcase in the country and the very best artists and designers travel from all over South Africa and abroad to display their wares.

CPUT is a regular feature at the event since 2008 which also stars a number of talented young CPUT graduates who are now respected industry experts.

This year all eyes will be on fashion grad Lukhanyo Mdingi who has been shortlisted as one of Design Indaba’s Emerging Creatives. Lukhanyo was selected out of 262 applications to be featured at the expo.
