Student cannot register online due to various reasons given below:

1. Your faculty has not given you permission to register online due to any of the following reasons:
   
   
   • You are trying to register for the Qualification and Offering type outside the Registration period (refer to the Online Registration Booklet), and/or
   • The Qualification Code and Offering Type (e.g. Full-time, Part-time, etc.) has not been selected for online registrations – refer to ONLINE Registration Booklet (http://www.cput.ac.za/students/about/registration)
     
     
2. If none of these reasons apply, then contact the Faculty Office, or if this cannot be sorted out by email or phone, report to the Registration Point on campus. Refer to the Registration Booklet on the CPUT website (http://www.cput.ac.za/students/about/registration).

STAFF SUPPORT:
Step 1:  Verify the Qualification Code & Offering Type has been identified for online Registrations.  

Step 2:  Verify the Registration period for the Qualification Code and Offering Type

Step 3:  Create a WEBR indicator with the valid start and end date or update the existing WEBR indicator details
