Diploma in Fashion
The Diploma in Fashion prepares graduates to enter the fashion and fashion-related industries as innovative thinkers who are aware of sustainability and community responsiveness.

Advanced Diploma in Fashion
This course equips students to contribute, through research, to applying and evaluating existing knowledge in a specialised area of fashion design or garment technology and enhance professional and personal development. The four themes of design, technology, management and clothing theory are progressively developed as the student acquires an in-depth understanding of the subject. The programme is conducted in an integrated manner, accommodating specialisation in either design, product development, or manufacturing technology. Students are encouraged to work independently on a research project with an exhibition of work in a selected area of specialisation.

Admission Requirements
- Completing the three-year Fashion Design Diploma with a 60% pass rate, including a portfolio of work and possibly an interview.
- A student with the above pass rate in the National Diploma in Fashion Design or an equivalent NQF 6 qualification from another institution would also be eligible to apply.
- Candidates may also apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for access to the Advanced Diploma
