A nationally recognised, well-connected, multidisciplinary centre that provides a variety of development and collaboration opportunities to motivated staff and students. Operating within a framework of commissioned projects tailored to address the specific needs of the water sector, community, and clients.

Objectives

Identification and establishment of waterrelated research activities based on regional and national priorities
Facilitation and execution of interdisciplinary projects which generate research, income and postgraduate opportunities
Maintaining and developing partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the water sector regionally, nationally, and internationally

Vision

CWSR aims to bring together individuals, research initiatives, training opportunities, enabling technologies, and collaborative initiatives in order to foster an environment in which the convergence of these elements results in increased human capacity, development, and innovation in the water sector.
