Centre for Intelligence Systems and Emerging Technologies (CISET)
CISET is dedicated to advancing AI, machine learning, and intelligent systems research to benefit industries, communities, and utilities.
Our primary and inspiring objective is to enhance knowledge and technological innovation in these fields, foster talent, secure external funding, and disseminate findings. CISET aims to build a state-of-the-art infrastructure for AI-based research and cutting-edge technological tools for energy, environment, and credible cyber-physical systems.
The centre, led by the experienced and committed centre leadership supported by researchers and postgraduate students who are firmly committed to multidisciplinary research in control and optimization, sensing and information processing, machine learning, robotics, and automation.

Intelligent Systems and Robotics
The CISET focuses on developing critical technologies for controlling and optimizing complex engineering problems, sensing and information processing, machine learning, robotics, and automation.
AI-based Modelling and Control of Complex Systems
Our research aims to address critical research questions related to improving systems' intelligence and smartness and optimizing their performance in real-world settings.
Urban Sensing and Data Analysis
We seek to conduct interdisciplinary research in the applications of artificial intelligent systems to provide emerging technological solutions to industries and businesses.
