Trés Chic CPUT twins grace Paris Glamour cover
SISTER SISTER: The twins as they appear on the cover.

Trendy twin sisters Jodie and Justine Petersen are set to take the fashion world by storm after landing the coveted cover of the spring edition of Glamour Paris.
Jodie, a third-year retail business management student and Justine, a recent clothing management graduate, started modelling in 2014 when a designer approached them to model for her brand.
They joined an agency in 2015.
The Glamour cover was shot in Cape Town but the twins had no clue that they would be the cover girls.
“We didn't know it was for the cover until we were at the shoot location. At that point we were in shock but instantly excited,” said Jodie.
“We think of the cover as our big break. Not many models get to be on the cover of a well-known magazine such as Glamour, especially not the September Fashion issue of Glamour Paris. We still ask ourselves: ‘How did this happen to us?’ We are really hoping that this opens up major doors for us in the industry.”
The twins draw inspiration from black role models for the youth like actress Yara Shahidi, actress sisters Chloe and Halle and actress Zendaya.
“We look up to personalities who stand up for black women and are an example for youngsters everywhere,” said Jodie.
The siblings plan to go overseas next year and take their careers to the next level.
