Middle management, Quality managers and Supervisors, SHEQ representatives and persons who have successfully completed the Quality Control and/or Assurance Techniques Courses. Applicants who have had exposure International standards, Management systems, regulatory requirements, etc.
The course comprises formal lectures, practical case studies and presentations
Course Modules
Module 1: Internal audits (overview)
Module 2: Auditing principles
Module 3: Managing and audit program
Module 4: Performing the Audit
Module 5: Remote and Virtual audits
Module 6: Auditor competence
A multimodal Teaching and Learning approach will be adapted. This includes:
Live Online classes via our Learner Management System- Blackboard
Laptop and or smartphone
Students who successfully complete the 40 hour short course, will receive a Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Certificate of Competence.
On successful completion of this course, the delegates will:
Have knowledge of auditing techniques to asses any Quality system
Have knowledge to apply effective auditing principles and skills
Be able to objectively analyze audit results and identify and implement corrective and preventative measures
The course can accommodate 20-25 participants.
The course will be offered between 10 August- 28 September 2024.
The course is exclusively offered online.

Submissions can be done electronically or in person. An enrolment form, as well as certified copies of the ID / passport document and the highest qualification must be submitted
Class times are: 08:00 - 13:00 Saturdays
Note about class dates:
Course fees are not refundable except where unforeseen circumstances or
lack of sufficient enrolments may necessitate the cancellation of a course.
