Legislative Framework for HRM in SA: Introductory overview to Labour Legislation in South Africa.
Class Test: Units 1 & 2 - 20%
Assignment 2: Global issues impacting on HRM - 25%
Summative Assessment
Final Exam All Units - 30%
Understand the field of HRM and the role it plays in meeting changing organisations’ needs.
Understand how effective management can contribute to organisational growth.
Have insight into critical human resources areas affecting organisations in SA today, e.g.affirmative action legislation.
Understand how individual differences impact on behaviour in the workplace and
Have a broad understanding of legislation governing the South African workplace.
