The Information & Communication Technology Academy has been established to promote excellence in Communication Networks scarce-skills training. This is in line with the needs of the University, community, industry, the City, Province, and National Economic development.
The Academy promotes ICT by means of quality educational training programs that promote and increase the current level of ICT networking skills and capacity. In addition, the Academy provides training to university students, the public and the community. The ICT Academy also promotes Information Technology tertiary educational development in collaboration with the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Information Technology Department and other academic institutions.
The ICT Academy maintains robust relationships with industry and government to promote student-training excellence in line with their needs, promoting placement opportunities for graduates.
