BTech: (baccalaureus technologiae)

This programme will afford Somatology graduates the opportunity to advance their studies in the wellness sciences, allowing them to specialise in sought after wellness therapies, with the emphasis on scientific research methods.

Graduates will be equipped to apply advanced wellness therapies, will be able to manage or start up a business enterprise with proficiency, and have the capacity to undertake research projects in wellness sciences.


Career Opportunities
The programme encourages entrepreneurship and small business development. Professional somatologists will be able to work in health and skincare clinics, wellness spas and cruise liners, locally or internationally. Graduates can also become involved in wellness sciences research or pursue a career as a lecturer.
