This qualification replaces the National Diploma: Clothing Management. The course equips students to conduct basic research, analyse and implement systems and policies, and combine a wide range of clothing related technological knowledge, skills and experience with a specialised area of clothing technology.

Purpose and Rationale of the qualification
Persons achieving this qualification will be able to conduct basic research, analyse and implement systems and policy, and combine a wide range of clothing related technological knowledge, skills and experience with a specialised area of clothing technology.

Career Opportunities
Graduates find employment in the clothing industry in areas such as work study, human resource management and training, production organisation, cutting room and quality management, marketing and general clothing management.
