This course provides graduates with the skills and abilities to be able to develop and implement contemporary retail business management strategies and techniques. Graduates with this qualification will be equipped with relevant skills and capabilities to assume any management position with the wholesale and retail industry.

Any business that offers goods and services to end-users including banks, airlines, hotels, supermarkets, wholesale businesses, distribution centres and the service industry in general.

Admission Requirements
The minimum admission requirements for entry into this Advanced Diploma Retail Business Management is an average of exit level subjects of 55% in one of the following:

  • An appropriate NQF level 6 Diploma in the field of Retail Business Management or related field of study or equivalent qualification such as a QCTO Certificate in Retail Store Manager Occupational at NQF level 6 or an equivalent occupational qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Retail or Commerce.

In addition to an average of exit level subjects of 55% a relevant workplace experience during the Diploma: Retail Business management will form the basis for further selection.
