Application and Registration Centre

Application-related services include: receipt and processing of electronic and manual application forms checking accuracy and completeness capturing of applicant’s information on the systems

Assessment and Graduation Centre

The Graduation ceremonies will be held at our Bellville campus, in the Major Sports Hall. Detailed Graduation ceremony dates and times will be published by the end of March 2024 on the website.

Campus Health Clinics

Our Campus Health Clinics provide primary health care services to registered students of the University. We also provide a limited service to CPUT staff.

Centre for Diversity, Inclusivity and Social Change

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) leadership is committed to lead the transformation process within the University.

Centre for Postgraduate Studies

The Centre facilitates postgraduate studies by connecting students with faculties, managing bursaries, and providing research support.

CPUT Student AI Practice Guide

Disability Unit

The DU is a multi-functional support service point of the University that strives to implement an accessible and welcoming learning environment for students with disabilities as well as support for staff working with these students.

Division of Student Affairs

The Division comprises of the following departments: Sport and Arts & Culture; Student Governance and Leadership; Student Life and Residential Services; Campus Health Services; HIV/AIDS Unit; Student Counselling; and Disability Unit.

Fundani Centre for Higher Education Development

We engage with and offer development to the institution’s faculties, academic staff and students through academic guidance, resources and research into teaching and learning.

Protection Services

The mission of Protection Services is to provide in an integrated and coordinated manner a professional, effective and efficient risk management and protection services to the students, staff and visitors of CPUT.

Residences

CPUT offers residence space for over 13 400 students. Our residences are spread across the Cape Peninsula in the areas surrounding our campuses.

Student Counselling

The Department of Student Counselling provides psychosocial support to all registered CPUT students through various services.

Student Engagement, Development & Training Unit

Our services include a robust peer education program, HIV testing, screening for sexually transmitted infections and tuberculosis, blood pressure, blood glucose screening services through our testing venues and our Mobile Wellness Services.

Student Governance & Leadership Development

Our mission is to develop a cohort of Student Leaders across our 5 campuses who are committed to engaging actively in leadership opportunities aimed at shaping identified graduate attributes.

Student Online Services (SOS) gives you access to your student data - anytime and from anywhere.

Student Representative Council (SRC)

The CPUT student body is represented on the various decision making structures at the university by a Central Student Representative Council (CSRC) and four Local Student Representative Councils.
