Former Cape Technikon Rector Dr Theo Shippey revisits the early dreams that shaped the Cape Town Campus, the decision to build the campus on the site of the historic District Six, and standout achievements including the creation of the Cape Town Hotel School.

CPUT Chancellor Prof Brian Figaji Figaji served as Vice-Chancellor of Peninsula Technikon from 1995 to 2004, guiding the university before its merger into the newly formed CPUT in 2005.
