About us

Welcome to the web pages of Student Counselling.

We provide a comprehensive range of services to you as a registered student, or prospective student of the Cape University of Technology.

Student Counselling aims to facilitate your general well-being and holistic growth and development.

We do this by assisting you in making important life transitions – from entering University and adjusting to the academic and social demands of University life, through to equipping you with skills to reach your career and life goals.

We do this through different levels of engagement, ranging from individual counselling and therapy sessions, to conducting skills development workshops and wellness promotion.

Student Counselling’s service delivery is according to the guidelines of the International Association of Counselling Services (IACS) and the Southern African Association for Counselling and Development in Higher Education (SAACDHE).
