“Modelling Africa Out Of Chronic Poverty"

The LAMIPISA 2018 Conference is hosted by the CPUT's Department of Management & Project Management in the Faculty of Business & Management Sciences.  The conference is a melting pot of multi-disciplinary research and industry practices, encouraging global networking. If you are interested in addressing the distressful economic situation and poverty on the African continent, submit your abstract before 30 June 2018.  

Who should attend

All practitioners in business, academics, researchers and leaders in projects and different spheres of social life will find this conference beneficial. Special emphasis is given to students doing their higher education through research, or with the research as a component thereof. 

2nd Call for papers

LAMIPISA is calling for papers from a global network of academics, scholars, masters and doctoral graduates, policy-makers, industry practitioners, politicians, and all interested in the welfare and economic development of Africa in particular from around the globe to share their leadership philosophies or findings. The theme for this year is "Modelling Africa out of chronic poverty".

Timeframe for submissions of abstracts and papers: 

30 June 2018 Conference Abstracts cut-off submission date
15 July 2018 Abstract reviewing committee will finalise on accepted abstracts
15 July 2018 Feedback on all abstracts and the tentative programme is despatched
31 July 2018 Cut-off for full paper submission to be published before the conference
15 August 2018 Submission of conference proceedings and full papers to the printers
