Who We Are
The Disability Unit is a multi-functional support service point for students and staff with disabilities, as well as for staff working with students with disabilities.
Vision
To empower and support people with disabilities to reach their full potential in an inclusive academic environment by enhancing access, non-discrimination, dignity and equity.
Mission
- To improve retention and pass rates of students with disabilities by quality academic support services that enhance access and equal participation in teaching and learning, research and scholarship, in partnership with the community.
- To provide quality support services to staff with disabilities, and staff working with students with disabilities.
