CPUT and Digital Storytelling South Africa have hosted South Africa’s first Digital Story Festival on March 16: 20 highly skilled and experienced digital storytellers from around the world, working in NGOs, museums, higher education, government and media, have shared some of their tools developed in years of storytelling work.
This was not a full digital storytelling workshop, but a series of short workshops introducing tools and facilitation techniques from all phases of the digital storytelling process. There were two streams at this event: one that engaged with digital storytelling in general and one that focused on digital story work in museums.
The final programme is available here.
The presentations and other resources are available here.
Maximum participants: 100
Sponsors: Story-A, a project funded by the European Union and CPUT RIFTAL fund. More information here.
