The CPUT Postgraduate Research Conference 2019 is around the corner and it’s all systems go.
The Centre for Postgraduate Studies (CPGS) will once again host the much-anticipated research activities of postgraduate students across faculties/units/centres and institutes on 7 November 2019 at the Saretec Building, Bellville Campus.
The Centre’s Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Phaphama Mhlekwa, said the postgraduate students at the conference will present papers in all areas of research as they pave the way to ground-breaking solutions for real problems.
Mhlekwa said the conference, which was established in 2014, “is a platform to showcase postgraduates’ excellence in research and innovation”.
“It has grown tremendously both in quantity and in the quality of abstract submissions. “[The conference covers] all areas of research for oral presentations and posters to be exhibited at the Postgraduate Research Conference 2019. This annual conference is used as a platform for postgraduate students in all faculties and units to showcase their research activities,” she said.
