Individuals working in the field of production management who want to update their skill set to improve productivity and operations at their place of work will benefit from this course. This group of people includes manufacturing specialists, production managers, technical managers, engineers, technicians, supervisors, foremen, team leaders and line workers.

Individuals who work in other fields such as Purchasing, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Quality, Warehousing, Logistics will also benefit from this course.

All training material is available in electronic format. Students who require a hard copy for lectures are to download and print the material themselves.
Students will continuously be assessed by means of tests and / or assignments, etc. A Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) certificate will be awarded to successful students. The course content is benchmarked against level 5 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Registration opens on 2018-01-22. Course fees are not refundable except where unforeseen circumstances or lack of sufficient enrollments may necessitate the cancellation of the course.
Class times are: Saturdays (09h00 - 14h00)
Note about class dates:
The short course stretches over a 11-week period (17 March - 26 May 2018). Lectures are scheduled for 9 Saturdays during this time period. There is no lectures scheduled for 31 March and 7 April,
