A candidate needs somebody to write for you who knows the phonetic alphabet. Your cadet book with the signature of who signed it off for signals. A thorough understanding of the book of signals the morse code A -Z and figures. You will do code groups and plain language. and flags. Also the procedure to call up a ship with morse signalling.
