Students are taught how to professionalise their writing skills and to develop specialised reporting skills. They are also provided with an introduction to media management, including the inner workings of newspapers and broadcast houses, and taught the basics of research methodology.


Career Information

Graduates find employment in a variety of media and related industries. These include broadcasting, print media, online media and corporate communications. An Advanced Diploma in Journalism provides a good stepping stone to a career in media management.
